I seriously find that Malay language has been getting reaaaaaally hard these days, no, months. I don’t know why, maybe it’s because I am prone to speaking in Indonesian language. But I can’t help it you see. It’s MY language and I find it really hard to understand and use the words in the Malay context, it’s just different and doesn’t make any sense to me at all. I’m sorry to whoever who feels offended, but I am just trying to pour my feelings upon failing my Malay. No, don’t get me wrong. I am not sad or whatsoever, I am just starting to feel proud secretly. Somehow I think that I am still speaking, using and thinking using my original language context despite learning English and Malay. To tell you the truth, mostly, I have to think for a while during tests and exams to translate whatever in my mind into English or Malay. Hahahaha. It’s really hard. But when I got home and told my aunt about me failing Malay, she was not that shock. Me: Bunda, tau gak?! Aku fail melayu. My Aunt: AHHAHAHAHAHAHHA! Tau gak?! Ilham masuk remedial melayu karena selalu fail. Memang kayak gitu, bahasa melayu sama bahasa kita terlalu berbeda. Memang susah sih, tapi kan mendingan dari ambil bahasa cina. TRANSLATION Me: Aunt, you know what?! I fail my Malay. My Aunt: AHAHAHHAHAHAHAH! You know what?! Ilham (my cousin) has to go for Malay remedial because he always fail. It’s like that. Malay language and our language is really different. It’s hard, but it’s better than taking Mandarin / Chinese language. So yeah, I think I really have to try harder to understand the Malay context. You don’t know how pai seh I am whenever in my composition or situational writing I accidentally put indon words and they will all be circled in red ink with a question mark next to it. My teacher must be having a great time laughing. But look at the bright side, most probably I will only have to use this language for just a few months more and after that, I can freely use MY language whenever I feel like it. Total freedom. I can’t wait ;D

My name is Nabila Dinda Jeulila. Sometimes I thought that my name was too long that actually I took more time than the rest during exam just to write 'em *sigh*. I think I got dumped by my parents I mean where can you find a 15 year old girl living alone with some strangers. ROFLMAO.
It's been about 5 years since I start stepping on this island which changed most of my life and I still bear the title 'Foreigner'. Apart from tonnes of school work and going back home at 6+ pm everyday, I've got friends who behave like berok (monkey) and a ridiculous CCA. Oh! and I have a brother who is struggling his balls head off in that hell-on-earth university. Heh :D
